At Honest Foods London, we believe that great food is about much more than just fuelling a busy day — it’s about bringing people together, creating comfort, and building spaces where real connection can happen. That is why we are so deeply honoured to partner with and cater for the incredible team at The Kintsugi Way.
Founded by the inspirational Chess Galea (@chess_galea), The Kintsugi Way is a vibrant community for women who have lived with sexual trauma — run by survivors, for survivors. Big shout out to Chess for her vision, leadership, and tireless dedication in building this transformative space!
Named after the traditional Japanese art form of repairing broken pottery with gold — mending pieces to make something even stronger and more beautiful — TKW offers a safe, nurturing environment for women to connect, heal, and rebuild. Through trauma-informed creative workshops, art therapy, psychoeducation, and gentle group sessions across London, they help women rediscover their inner strength alongside a supportive, understanding community.
One of the central elements of TKW’s restorative event days is a communal lunch. After hours spent engaging in deep, creative, and emotional work, sitting down to share a fresh, delicious meal gives participants a much-needed moment to rest, reflect, and bond over food.
This is where our kitchen team gets to do what we love best. For TKW’s events, we serve balanced, colour-packed meals, with the odd sweet treat to bring comfort and restore energy throughout the day.
Food has a unique ability to break down barriers, start conversations, and offer genuine comfort. Being trusted to cater for TKW’s workshops is a true privilege for our whole team, and we look forward to continuing to support this inspirational group with delicious, healthy food for many events to come.
We are constantly inspired by the courage and resilience shown by the women in TKW’s programmes.
