A Journey of Determination

Three years ago, Lekan joined us as an agency Kitchen Porter (KP). Arriving from Nigeria, he didn’t speak a word of English, but his motivation was unmistakable. While many see a KP role as just a job, Lekan saw it as a doorway. He watched, learned and showed an incredible intuition for food.

Investing in Potential

We believe a dedicated lunch service team is only as strong as its members. Recognising his drive, we hired Lekan full-time and began investing in his future. We signed him up for ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) classes and supported his lessons every step of the way. Watching his confidence grow alongside his vocabulary has been the highlight of our year.

The Rise of a Star

Through mentorship from our 5-star trained team, Lekan has moved from the sink to the stove. Today, he is our Superstar Breakfast Chef. Whether he’s prepping your crew catering or a vibrant morning spread for corporate catering in London, Lekan’s passion is in every bite.
