How We Keep Food Safe From Our Kitchen to Your Door

Why Food Safety Matters at Scale

We deliver up to a thousand individually boxed lunches a day — made fresh that morning, portioned, boxed, and on their way to offices and shoot locations right across London, all needing to arrive at exactly the right temperature, at exactly the right time. That’s the scale we operate at, and it’s exactly why food safety isn’t something we treat as paperwork. At that volume, it’s the difference between every single meal landing safely, and one of them not.

What SALSA Accreditation Actually Involves

That’s a big part of why we’re proud to be SALSA accredited (Safe And Local Supplier Approval) — one of the food industry’s most rigorous food safety and hygiene standards. SALSA accreditation isn’t a one-off tick-box exercise; it means regular, independent auditing of everything from how we handle and store ingredients, to temperature control during transport, to how our kitchen team is trained — checked and re-checked on an ongoing basis, not just signed off once and forgotten.

Our New SALSA-Accredited Kitchen

We moved into a new unit this year, and re-achieved SALSA accreditation there — meaning the audit, and everything it checks, has already been proven against our current kitchen, not just a previous one. The move has also given us real headroom to grow, which matters for anyone thinking about handing us a bigger, ongoing contract: we’re not stretched to our limit at current volumes, we’ve got capacity built in for exactly this kind of expansion.

Food Safety for Office and Corporate Catering

For our workplace catering in particular, this discipline has to hold up whichever way the food goes out. Most days it’s individually portioned, boxed meals delivered straight to a desk or a set — no serving staff needed, no assembly, just open and eat. But we also run on-site served catering for offices that want a proper spread laid out and looked after in person, from breakfasts to full team lunches. Different formats, same standard behind them: everything made from scratch in our kitchen, and every batch — whether it travels in a box or gets served straight off a table — held to the same temperature, packaging and timing discipline that SALSA audits.

What This Means If You’re Booking Office or Corporate Catering

If you’re an office considering us for daily lunches, or a production ordering catering for a crew of hundreds, food safety compliance is one of the first things you should be asking any caterer about — and it’s one of the easiest for a supplier to talk about vaguely without much behind it. We’d rather you didn’t have to take our word for it. SALSA accreditation means an independent body has already checked.
