At Honest, we believe in making a difference through food, not just by serving our delicious food, but by giving back to our community — and increasingly, by being independently checked on it too.

In 2024 we launched one of our proudest partnerships yet with the amazing charity that is the 999 Club. Alongside free weekly breakfast drops, we’ve been hosting Cooking on a Budget demos in our kitchen, helping previously homeless individuals recently housed in permanent accommodation learn how to cook nutritious and affordable meals. These classes give people who may have had little chance to cook before a valuable life skill, all in a relaxed and supportive setting. It’s our way of sharing the power of food to nourish body and soul, while supporting a brighter future for our community.

This same commitment runs through how we hire and how we treat our own team. We’re proud to hold the Mayor of London’s Good Work Standard, recognising fair pay, workplace wellbeing, and real opportunities to progress within the company — and we’ve been a London Living Wage employer for years, meaning every person on our team is paid a wage that reflects the real cost of living in this city, not just the legal minimum.

Alongside that, we’re accredited under the Good Business Charter, an independent framework covering ten commitments including fair pay, employee wellbeing, and ethical sourcing — because we’d rather our standards were checked than just claimed.

And for us, community impact goes hand in hand with environmental impact. As an official Albert supplier — the film and TV industry’s own sustainability certification — we deliver in electric vans and cargo bikes, and serve everything in packaging that’s recyclable or compostable. By caring for our city and our environment together, we’re making sure the impact of every meal stretches far beyond the plate.
