Nam Jim Dressing- a perfect dressing or marinade
Spice up your meals with one simple and versatile dressing, it’s a HF favourite!
Nam Jim Dressing can be made with either red chillies (Red Nam Jim) or green chillies (Green Nam Jim), we love a red Nam Jim, which roughly translates to chilli water.
It can transform anything from a BBQ’s to fish dishes to zingy asian salads. And it lasts 2-3 weeks in the fridge!
- 2 red chillies
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 shallot
- 25 grams of coriander root
Once the top is pounded together or rough chopped in a blender add to taste;
- 50ml lime juice
- 50ml fish sauce
- 20 grams of sugar
MethodOnce all blended together either drizzle over a fish dish, toss through a simple asian salad or drizzle over BBQ meat.
